What will I learn?
This course takes you through every essential layer of Aikido training, starting with dojo etiquette, history, and the core principles of aiki. You will develop proper body mechanics, posture, and footwork before moving on to safe-falling techniques and fundamental attack forms. From there, you will master the five pinning techniques and primary throws, then add weapons training with the bokken, jo, and tanto. Advanced sections cover randori, free-technique practice, and personal expression in Aikido. Supplementary content addresses injury prevention, mental conditioning, conflict de-escalation, and rank examination preparation.
