Advanced Airway Course

The Advanced Airway Course delivers the clinical depth and procedural precision that high-acuity providers need when seconds matter. From systematic assessment to surgical airway rescue, every module is built on current evidence and real-world decision-making. This is the airway training that closes the gap between knowing the algorithm and executing it under pressure.

What you will learn:

You will build a complete, systematic approach to airway management across the full spectrum of clinical complexity. The course covers airway anatomy, preoxygenation physiology, direct and video laryngoscopy, supraglottic devices, fibreoptic intubation, and emergency surgical airways. You will learn to apply difficult airway algorithms, manage CICO scenarios, and adapt your technique for paediatric, obstetric, trauma, and morbidly obese patients. Pharmacology modules cover induction agents, neuromuscular blockers, and topical anaesthesia for awake intubation. Point-of-care ultrasound, initiation of mechanical ventilation, crisis resource management, and airway quality improvement are also included.
